so that is why all these kids had to lift a tree the way we got it out of the ground was by chopping roots!

Today I will design my own school uniform. Here is the winter uniform.

The reasons I chose these colours is because I like the colour pink and purple and the reason I chose orange and blue is because they stand out and are colourful. I chose long pants for both boys and girls because that way the students stay warm in the winter times.Here is the summertime clothes.

In this slide this is High jump and Long jump. Long jump is a pit of saw dust and there is a mat you jump on and land in the sawdust pit. Now to a different story Holes Rimu class finished holes on wednesday 25th of  september the main character in holes is a boy names stanley yelnats stanley's name is a palindrome when stanley caches a pair of shoes that he thinks that they fell from the sky but did not because a kid named hector dropped them from a bridge and hit stanly on the head as he was walking home from school then the cops started chasing after stanley the day after he was in court and he had two opeshins  camp green lake or jail stanley chose camp green lake but he did not realise that he would be digging holes 5 feet deep and five feet across here is the slide.

Hey Blogger world welcome back if you don't know me my name is Laura.Today on Friday the 16th of August was the last day of math week:( I was working with corbin we chose to build a bridge out of 100 Popsicle sticks what do you say? what it's not impossible it's challenging here is proof it is not impossible it is very fun because you get to work as a team and communicate to some people you don't really know here is the bridge I made with Corbin.

It could hold all the weights the bridge had to be between a crack in the table.

My maths animation

Today I am going to be showing you some math work I have been doing lately. I have been doing timetables, it is really fun doing this at math time. I like working out the answers ,it is so fun doing it. I made a great presentation about it and I am adding some of my math work. amazing wig wednesday!

Today it was wig Wednesday. A lot came to school with colorful wigs. There are 30 people wearing wigs in my class today it was so colorful! there are 13 people without wigs and there are 8 people away  we raised $136.20 that's a lot of money if you think that's a lot of money? Tell me down in the comments one of the funny things is that I didn't buy a wig because my Mum fagot about buying a wig so my mum and Dad just did heir chalk and a hair tie with ribbons attached to it at the end of my plat there were ribbons tied our whole class had a photo all together we all looked wigselint here it is

Today for reading I was doing understanding my first task was drawing a story map of where the events happen the story is pretty full on with who ate the last chocolate biscuit? I'm stuck on a deserted island!

If I was stuck on a  deserted island I would bring...
one of my favorite  stuffed toy. Why because he keeps me calm.
Next i would bring a first aid kit first because if I got hurt. I would keep it clean if I covered up the sore. last of all I would bring food and water because I would be healthy and not starve.

my new subject if I owned a school!

If I ran a school my new subject would be gym because to get the kids exercise.  My subject has got a huge gym where you can run around and get  exercise I have done.

the amazing number five game

Yesterday my maths group the mathematicians played the number five game. What we had to do is pick five numbers between five and thirty. Her is my five numbers and points

I thought this game was really fun because you can play it too. All you need is a white board and a white board pen.

The rules are you add the first number and the second number then the third number and froth number next you add the forth and fifth number together then you add your points together then write your score. 

gumboot friday!

Today some kids in our class wore gumboots. We were raising money for I Am hope. Here is a photo of gumboots kids were wearing. We raised $141.30.

                                                                 Hi everyone.
This week my class has been doing art work to remember the  victims . We've done some lovely art work. On Friday the 15th we went on lock down and we got to go on our chromebooks and watch Despicable me 2. I felt very scared and worried during the lockdown.
Here are some photos of our art work and some of the movie.

On Friday the 22nd our whole school was in mufti and we raised a big $482.00, isn't that amazing!!                

Elgrego came to my school! 🎩🐦🐤

Today Elgrego came to school he had a bird named popcorn I love popcorn. Here are some photos. Including a south african talking parrot. Isn't it so pretty anyway there was a baby macaw named ricey macaw he was so loud but the old one was quiet and got two peanuts and ricey got one but one day he will be quiet and get more peanuts  it was so cool seeing my friend Casey go up and help Elgrego.
